Whether you are a project holder, looking to expand your business or trade, an artisan, farmer, breeder, businessman, opinion leader, academic, small and medium-sized enterprise (SME), association, NGO, or public institution, this international meeting is organized for you.

The Belgium-Africa Economic Mission (MEBA) is an initiative aimed at promoting trade, investment, and economic cooperation between Belgium and Africa. These missions are organized for governments, chambers of commerce, and trade organizations, fostering exchanges and partnerships between Belgian and African companies.

During this economic mission in Belgium, participants will meet with government representatives, business leaders, investors, economic operators, and other key players in the Belgian business environment. The meetings will take the form of conferences, seminars, company visits, or trade shows.

The objectives of this economic mission in Belgium will vary depending on the participants and the sectors of activity involved. All sectors are accepted. Some common objectives include seeking business partners, exploring new investment opportunities, promoting specific products or services, establishing contacts with financial or government institutions, or finding export markets.

The advantage is that Belgium is a member of the European Union (EU) and hosts several European institutions, making it a strategic location for international companies seeking to establish or expand their activities in Europe. The country also has a highly diversified economic sector.

By participating in this economic mission in Belgium, you and your company can benefit from networking opportunities, possibilities for business cooperation, advice on the Belgian and European markets, as well as insights into local policies and regulations. This mission will contribute to strengthening bilateral economic relations and promoting the economic growth of the participating countries. The present Economic Mission will take place from November 6nd to 10th, 2023 in Wallonia, Brussels, and Flanders.

Within our nonprofit organization "Œil d'humanité," we develop and manage the following events:

- Organization of conferences and events to support Southern associations and the diaspora in Belgium, as well as assistance in seeking subsidies for their projects to strengthen North-South cooperation.

- Organization of Economic Missions (MEBA: Belgium-Africa Economic Mission) scheduled for November 6nd to 10th, 2023.

- Organization of Belgian-African festivals and fairs (FIBA: International Belgium-Africa Festival) planned for late July 2024.

- Organization of international economic forums (FEBA: Belgium-Africa Economic Forum) scheduled for March 2024.

The nonprofit organization "Œil d'Humanité" (OH) and Solidarity Action Development (SAD) work together for the values of living together in our modern and democratic societies.

MEBA is one of the projects of the "Œil d'humanité" nonprofit organization. This association aims to promote a philosophy of living together in a spirit of cooperation between Belgium and southern countries, in the quest for harmonious living in a just and egalitarian society.

Our missions are diverse and encompass almost all communities, particularly the most vulnerable, human rights defenders, immigrants, and Belgians. We promote human rights, participatory democracy, gender equality, the fight against corruption, the defense of effective press freedom in all states, the defense of immigrant rights in Belgium, and assistance in their integration into society and the workforce.
