He is the director of the coffee company "GASHIKANWA SPECIALTY COFFEE" (GSCO), located in Ngozi in the north of Burundi, which grows, prepares, and roasts coffee.

This successful entrepreneur in the Burundian coffee sector is thrilled to have received his visa in time to prepare calmly for this significant event. Mr. Ncahoruri stated that it will be a remarkable opportunity for him and his company to meet and exchange ideas with other businessmen worldwide, establish partnerships, and expand his activities by opening a branch in Belgium. He also hopes to promote Burundi's coffee, which is considered to be of the highest quality worldwide. This will allow him to establish his company's reputation, showcase his country, and facilitate trade between Burundi and Belgium.

GSCO has been operating since 2013, with five coffee pulping-washing stations in two northern provinces of Burundi, Ngozi, and Muyinga, and a coffee roasting plant. Thanks to the good quality of its coffee, GSCO already has markets for the sale of its coffee in different corners of the world, such as America, Switzerland, Canada, and France, and soon in Belgium, where it will set up a branch to facilitate coffee supply in these countries. Mr. Ncahoruri emphasizes that this is part of strengthening cooperation between Burundi and Belgium, and also to show Belgium the country's contribution to the coffee sector since it was Belgium that introduced coffee to Burundi during the colonial era in 1920. The coffee sector is a growth sector that supports thousands of coffee growers who take care of the production of this strategic product. Coffee also remains the main source of foreign currency for the country. Burundi was selected as the country producing the best coffee in the world during the Specialty Coffee Association fair-exhibition held in Boston, United States of America, from April 8 to 10, 2022.

Opening a new GSCO company in Belgium will be a significant contribution to the economy of both Belgium and Burundi, as it will require employees to work in both countries, especially in the north of Burundi, where a considerable number of employees are engaged.

In conclusion, Mr. Ncahoruri is eagerly looking forward to this significant meeting and will be accompanied by his son, Nishimwe Arthaf, who provides technical assistance to the company. He also expressed his gratitude to the Burundian government and the government of Belgium for their continued efforts to revitalize cooperation between the two countries to facilitate the activities of businessmen.
